Pisarcik, who relieved injured starter Jerry Golsteyn in the second quarter, hit Johnny Perkins with a 67-yard touchdown pass in the third period to break a 10-10 tie. Tampa Bay's Neil O'Donoghue reduced the Giants' lead to 16-13 with a 26-yard field goal, but Joe Danelo countered with a 23-yarder with 6:55 left in the game.
