Todd finished the day with 17 completions in 25 attempts for 245 yards. Walker had four receptions for 108 yards. Interceptions by Mike Hennigan and Greg Buttle set up Leahy's first two field goals. The Dolphins played without quarterback Bob Griese, who was injured in the preseason and expected to miss at least the first six games of the regular season.
