Pittsburgh's Terry Bradshaw finished a nine-play, 79-yard drive with a 37-yard gadget pass to Bennie Cunningham at 3:43 of overtime to knock the Browns from the unbeaten ranks. It was Bradshaw's one-hundredth career scoring pass and decided a game that was a battle of field goals for four periods. Cleveland's Don Cockroft and Pittsburgh's Roy Gerela each kicked three. The Pittsburgh defense sacked quarterback Brian Sipe five times and made two interceptions to help move the Steelers alone atop the AFC Central Division.
