Weese gave Denver a 14-0 halftime lead on a six-yard touchdown run and a nine-yard touchdown pass to Jon Keyworth. Fourth quarter interceptions by Steve Foley and Bernard Jackson set up a nine-yard touchdown run by Larry Canada and a four-yard touchdown pass from Craig Penrose to Dave Preston.
