NFL game summary for 10/15/1978:

Harry Carson's interception and fumble recovery led to a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns as the Giants posted a come-from-behind victory. Carson, the Giants' starting middle linebacker, intercepted Doug Williams' pass early in the final period and returned it 30 yards to the Tampa Bay 25. Four plays later Larry Csonka ran seven yards for the touchdown that reduced the Buccaneers' lead to 14-9. On the next Tampa Bay offensive series, Carson recovered a fumble at the Buccaneers' 12. Five plays later Csonka ran in from a yard out to give the Giants the deciding touchdown. Tampa Bay led 14-3 at the half on touchdowns by Johnny Davis and Jimmy DuBose, who became the first Buccaneer to rush for 100 yards in a game (109 yards on 24 carries). The Giants' win was preserved when Neil O'Donoghue missed a 42-yard field goal with 24 seconds left.
