. . . where the 1970s live forever!

NFL game summary for 11/05/1978:

Matt Robinson connected on a 75-yard touchdown bomb to Wesley Walker with 5:45 left to climax the Jets' comeback from a 28-7 deficit in the second quarter. Robinson hit Derrick Gaffney with a four-yard touchdown strike and Scott Dierking's three-yard touchdown run followed a Pat Leahy 38-yard field goal and put New York within striking distance. The Jets gained possession at their own 25 after a Broncos punt, and Robinson hit Walker for the game-winner on the first play. Denver's final-minute bid for overtime failed when Jim Turner's 42-yard field goal fell short with eight seconds remaining.
