Mark Moseley, who had missed a 35-yard field goal earlier in the overtime, kicked a 45-yarder 8:32 into the extra period to give Washington its eighth win of the season. New York took a 13-6 lead with nine minutes left in the fourth quarter when defensive tackle Troy Archer returned Joe Theismann's fumble 20 yards for a touchdown. The Redskins tied the game with 1:05 left on Mike Thomas' one-yard run. Washington drove 25 yards to set up Moseley's winning three-pointer.
