Ken Stabler completed three touchdown passes and the Oakland defense forced seven turnovers as the Raiders stayed tied with Denver for the AFC West lead. Stabler's third touchdown pass of the game, an 11-yarder to Morris Bradshaw, gave the Raiders a commanding 27-7 lead midway through the third quarter. Ken Anderson threw two fourth quarter touchdown passes to cut the lead to six, but Mark van Eeghen's 11-yard scoring run iced Oakland's victory.
