The Browns registered their fourth interconference win of the year and first over the Rams since 1963. Ozzie Newsome's nine-yard scoring run in the first period put the Browns ahead to stay. Sipe threw 31 yards to Reggie Rucker for a score and Mike and Greg Pruitt each added touchdowns, the latter on a 57-yard run that put the game out of reach.
