Norm Bulaich, who came out of retirement just prior to the season opener, caught a seven-yard touchdown pass from Bob Griese with 9:08 left in the game to seal the Dolphins' win. Miami converted interceptions by Earnest Rhone, Bob Matheson, and Gerald Small into 12 points on two Uwe von Schamann field goals and Nat Moore's three-yard touchdown reception. The Seahawks built a 10-9 third-period lead on Efren Herrera's 32-yard field goal and a Jim Zorn-to-Steve Raible touchdown pass. Bulaich's winning score was set up by a 51-yard pass from Griese to Duriel Harris, who finished with five receptions for 117 yards.
