Don Cockroft kicked his second game-winning field goal in three weeks to lead Cleveland to its third straight comeback victory. Quarterback Brian Sipe (14 of 32 for 218 yards and one touchdown) connected with Ozzie Newsome on a 74-yard third-down pass to set up Cockroft's winning 26-yard field goal with 1:51 remaining. A 35-yard scoring toss from Sipe to Dave Logan tied the score in the third quarter. Baltimore had a chance to tie the game but Toni Linhart's 28-yard field goal attempt with one second remaining went wide.
