Ron Jaworski threw two touchdown passes and Wilbert Montgomery rushed for 126 yards on 29 carries as Philadelphia defeated the Giants. Philadelphia took a 7-3 first-quarter lead on a 53-yard touchdown pass from Jaworski to Montgomery. Jaworski's second touchdown pass was an 11-yarder to Keith Krepfle that capped an 11-play, 77-yard drive. New York broke a ten-quarter touchdown drought on Randy Dean's six-yard run in the fourth period. New York was driving again late in the game, but John Sciarra's interception with 2:02 left clinched the Eagles' victory.
