Roger Staubach completed 13 of 18 passes for 176 yards and three touchdowns to lead Dallas over Los Angeles. Staubach's second scoring pass, a three-yarder to Tony Dorsett, gave Dallas a 13-6 halftime lead and enabled him to set a club record for touchdown passes. Dallas put the game away in the third quarter by scoring 17 unanswered points. Dorsett gained 103 yards on 24 carries to become the first Cowboy ever to rush for over 100 yards in three straight games.
