Bert Jones returned to action after missing six games and threw for one touchdown and ran for another to lead the Colts. Jones scored in the second quarter on a one-yard run and hit Mack Alston with a four-yard touchdown pass with 6:05 left to give the Colts their winning margin. Lyle Blackwood recovered a Bills fumble with four minutes left and Mike Ozdowski sacked Joe Ferguson on fourth down with 1:45 remaining to seal the Colts' second victory of the season.
