Bob Griese came off the bench in the third quarter to rally Miami to 26 straight points and a comeback win. Miami trailed 17-13, but Griese opened the second half with a 78-yard drive that was capped by a 38-yard touchdown pass to Nat Moore. Larry Csonka later climaxed a 65-yard march with his second of three one-yard scoring plunges. Csonka rushed for 68 yards to become the sixth NFL runner to reach 8,000 yards (8,027) while Griese (8 of 10 for 101 yards) passed the 24,000-yard career mark (24,073).
