The defending Super Bowl champion Steelers opened a 20-0 first-quarter lead on their way to a 34-14 decision over AFC East champion Miami. The Steelers scored on their first three possessions with drives of 62, 62 and 56 yards. Terry Bradshaw completed a personal postseason high of 21 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns to John Stallworth (17 yards) and Lynn Swann (20).
