Dan Rowan and Dick Martin are co-starring in the first of a series of specials they will be doing away from Laugh-In. Carol Burnett, Sammy Davis Jr. and the Smothers Brothers join co-producers Rowan and Martin in a spoof on television - commercials, critics, writers, executives. There will be eight surprise guests popping up in cameos during the skits. Highlights of some of the performances include Miss Burnett playing everything from a tough critic to a plantation owner's daughter; Tommy Smothers from surgeon to Gen. Washington; Sammy Davis from farm hand to TV executive; and Dick Martin from struggling writer to sneaky thief.
