The story of archeological explorer Gene Savoy and his 2,000-mile voyage on a raft up the Pacific coast of South and Central America. Savoy was trying to prove that the pre-Inca Indians of Peru and the Mayas of Central America actually were in contact with each other and set out to test his theory with a raft ride similar to the ones that the tribes might have made.
