The group of 36 clean-cut young singers, who come from high schools and colleges in California, are hosts in their first musical-variety special. Lorne Greene, Tiny Tim and The Committee are guests. The singers perform songs with an accent on love and good will. Greene joins the Young Americans for a plea for peace in "Who Will Answer?". Tim sings a medley about rain. The Committee adds some improvisational comedy and humorous observations.
