[CBS 7:30] Horton Hears A Who! [special]
W: Theodor Geisel D: Chuck Jones, Ben Washam With Hans Conried, June Foray, Chuck Jones. Another creature from Dr. Seuss' literary menagerie makes its debut in this animated musical special. A kindhearted elephant is the hero of this latest children's story to be translated from book form to TV. Hans Conried narrates the tale of a helpful pachyderm who goes to the rescue of Whoville, the harassed hamlet which faces another crisis after the terrible Grinch's annual Christmas larceny. Five original songs are in the MGM production.
