[NBC 7:30] White Paper: Migrant The plight of today's migrant workers is examined in NBC's White Paper documentary. The program concentrates on Florida because that state's economy is structured on agriculture and more workers stay there the year round. Chet Huntley reports on the substandard housing and ill treatment the workers suffer, as well as what growers and government officials are attempting to do to alleviate the problem. Program also includes segments of "Harvest of Shame", the CBS documentary narrated by Edward R. Murrow 10 years ago.
