It was imperative that thousands of pounds of industrial diamonds be smuggled out of the country before the Nazis could seize them. An English major and two Dutch civilians were instrumental in accomplishing the feat.

When the stolen shotgun is pawned, the officers uncover events revealing the way narcotics users support their habits.
