The series is based on fact: Massachusetts and 13 other states allow prospective attorneys to receive experience by representing clients and pleading cases in court, under the supervision of a practicing attorney. In this episode, Aaron Silverman is assigned to defend a young intern being sued by a father whose son was injured when the intern removed him from a wrecked car.
