Canadian wildlife biologist John Goddard reports on the East African rhino. He took a "census" over a six-year period to determine if the rhino was in danger of becoming extinct and, if so, to consider ways of preserving the animal. Producer-writer Irwin Rosten's cameras followed Goddard by car, airplane and on foot as he went on his rounds in the Ngorogoro Crater, Tanzania, and Tsavo National Park in Kenya. E.G.
