Hope trades quips with Frazier, the world heavyweight champ, and then Joe sings "My Way". Hope and Marvin play pilots for a chintzy airline, Bob is seen as an aging child star in a "Lassie" spoof with Shirley Jones and Wally Cox, and the host invades Sammy Davis, Jr.'s nightclub dressing room before they duet "Me and My Shadow". Sammy also delivers "Vehicle" and Shirley takes care of the "Theme From Love Story".

Diahann slides from Gershwin to the Beatles to spirituals, singing 12 numbers. Harry Belafonte sings "Rock Island Line" and chats with his hostess and actor Donald Sutherland. Diahann and Tom Jones cut loose in the evening's hottest number, "Without Love", and there's a Carroll fashion show for the ladies as she delivers "If My Friends Could See Me Now".
