[CBS] India charged that West Pakistani troops fired into India. West Pakistan claims that infiltrators from India attempted to blow up a railroad bridge in East Pakistan. [CBS] Haitian President Duvalier failed to attend his birthday celebration, increasing speculation about the possibility that he is dead or very ill; Duvalier's son, who has been appointed to be his eventual successor, appeared instead. Government spokesman Gerard de Catalogne stated that Duvalier is well and resting and didn't want to appear at the celebration. Duvalier's son will take his place in public from now on.
