ABC News delves into the causes and prevention of heart disease in an hour narrated by Robert Young (whose show is pre-empted for this special). The program in cinema verite fashion portrays the daily lives of five men who are running a high risk of heart attack determined by such factors as family history, stress, smoking, obesity and exercise. Viewers can rate their own risk by answering a quiz related to these factors. Altered habits of work, eating and recreation are then examined to demonstrate the steps that can be taken to improve health and increase longevity.
