It surpasses heart diease, cancer and drug addiction, and it is estimated that between 6 and 9 million persons suffer from it, a figure that breaks down to two for every city block in America. Frank Reynolds reports from Rochester. The city was selected for two reasons: it is a typical middle-sized community, and has adopted a progressive attitude towards alcoholism.
