One scene shows the giant Pruitt-Igoe housing project in St. Louis, whose deserted ruins give only a small suggestion that the project originally housed 2,800 families and represented an initial investment of $36,000,000 15 years ago. Other cities visited are Chicago, Cleveland and New York. Additional segments cover prominent lecturers on the college circuit, Jordan's King Hussein, and Army-Marine Corps competition for recruits.
