Reporter John Sharnik documents the different experiences of two 22-year-old men -- one black, one white -- in their encounter with the American judicial system. Both of the accused were 22 years old, both were charged with thefts at business places in the Indianapolis area, and in both cases the key witness against them was the son of the business' owner. Over the next six months Sharnik followed the cases to their conclusions.
