Broadway performers Melba Moore ("Purlie") and Clifton Davis ("Two Gentlemen of Verona") costar in a five-week musical comedy series replacing Carol Burnett. Against avant-garde settings representing an apartment house, the music and comedy springs from the relationships among the residents. Miss Stapleton takes part in two numbers, "Rock Steady" and "I Met Him in Boston". Regulars in the New York-produced series include Timmy Rogers, Ron Carey, Dick Libertini and Liz Torres.
