Castellano and Bruce Kirby, Jr. are their children. In the first show, the Super discovers his son has been suspended from school.

Comic Alan King debuts as a producer with this New York-originated show. In the first one, an attempt to publicize his tavern embroils Dell and his customers in a welter of political turmoil.
