Cambodian troops massacred over 100 Vietnamese civilians at Takeo; 500 bodies were counted floating down the Mekong River. [CBS] Federal Power Commission chairman John Nassikas told Congress that electrical brownouts and blackouts may increase; the problem is with the industry, not the legislature. [CBS] After the Apollo 11 moonwalk, President Nixon said it was the greatest week in world history since the creation of man. After Apollo 13, the President called this the most exciting and meaningful day of his life and said that the American character is sound and strong.
