[CBS 9:00] Preseason Football
CBS's second preseason game originates from the new 78,000-seat Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, where the Chiefs host the Super Bowl Champion Dallas Cowboys. Kansas City led the AFC's Western Division last season with 10-3-1, but were upset by Miami in the playoffs. Len Dawson, Otis Taylor, Ed Podolak, Jan Stenerud, et al, won't let that happen again. Dallas lost MVP Roger Staubach in the Rams game Aug. 12, but Craig Morton replaces him and is right back where he was as leader of the Cowboys in 1969-70. Bob Hayes, Lance Alworth, Calvin Hill and that "Doomsday Defense" will make Dallas tough again.
