[NBC 8:00] Howdy And Friends [special] Buffalo Bob Smith and Howdy Doody host a musical-variety special for children featuring a return of peanut gallery alumni from the days when The Howdy Doody Show pioneered daytime children's television. Clarabell the clown, a children's peanut gallery and the familiar theme song will highlight the program, as well as excerpts from the 10 Saturday morning children's programs premiering this fall on NBC.
