Eric Sevareid interviews one of this country's longest-serving Supreme Court Justices, William O. Douglas. In two years, Justice Douglas will break the record for years served on the Supreme Court, where he has now sat for 33 of his 73 years. Sevareid has known the justice for 25 years, and in the conversation, which was filmed at Douglas' vacation retreat, Goose Prairie, Wash., Douglas openly talks about the high court, his convictions, his long controversial career, his country and its backbone - the Constitution.
