[NBC 10:00] Miss America Pageant [special] Live from Atlantic City, the 52nd annual pageant to select the queen who will rule through 1973. Bert Parks returns for his 18th year as on-stage emcee. Phyllis George, who was Miss America of 1971, makes her debut as on-camera hostess. Laurie Lee Schafer, who will surrender her 1972 crown to the winner, heads the entertainment portion, along with dancer Toby Towson. Among the judges are Eileen Farrell, Art Fleming, Peter Lind Hayes, Mary Healy, Robert F. Levine, Vivian Della Chiesa and Trudy Haynes.
