Using the "Love Is" cartoon strip as a springboard for production numbers, Barbara is featured in "Love is talking with kids"; Conway is featured in "Love is saving bad news to the last"; Pride and Conway are in "Love is a night out with the boys". In a 1920s setting on an oversize set, Barbara, stepping out of a huge phonograph horn, does the "Charleston" and "The Girl Friend". Goulet solos "Father of the Girls". Pride joins Barbara for a gospel medley.
