The second of a series of specials chronicling major events of the fight for American independence. The series, in celebration of the United States' Bicentennial, will continue periodically through 1976. Peter Ustinov, who played Lord North in the first dramatic documentary, returns tonight as England's George III who, although best remembered as the "mad" king who lost the colonies, was also known as a hard-working, conscientious monarch. Eric Sevareid assumes the view of a Colonial journalist of the Revolutionary period and conducts the interview at a castle near Stratford-Upon-Avon in England.
