With Phil Harris, Al Hirt, Pete Fountain. As this year's "King of Bacchus" for the New Orleans Mardi Gras, Bob Hope presides over the annual parade (filmed March 1-4). Taking part in the parade are 22 animated floats, 20 marching bands, plus several rhythm units. The theme of this year's parade is "Bacchus Goes to the Movies".
