[ABC 8:30] Shenyang Acrobatic Troupe Of China [special]
A performance of the touring troupe taped at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Perofrming Arts last January. In displaying feats of skill and strength, the troupe also weaves its talents into skits. One is "The Lion Dance", an old Chinese folk tale in which each lion (two men in elaborate costumes) performs various actions - playing with a ball, jumping and running. There are 77 men and women in the troupe.
