In a special two-hour episode, a severe crisis in the Walton home occurs when Olivia is stricken with polio and faces the possibility of permanent paralysis. She tries to effect a cure herself based on faith and sheer will, at the same time encouraging the children to develop their own interests as if nothing had changed.

A dramatic series about police work in the Bay City, with Karl Malden making his debut in a series playing a veteran policeman. In the first episode, the body of a pretty girl is found floating in the bay. Attached to her necklace is the card of a swinging attorney. When questioned he reveals the names of several suspects.

Contemporary folk-rock musical, a tribute to human understanding set to original music and lyrics and voiced by 130 young citizens of the world, aged 17-24. The program is excerpts of the performances being given around the United States and abroad by students. Troupes have performed to live and television audiences in 28 countries and at college and high-school campuses in hundreds of cities, as well as on stage from Carnegie Hall in New York to London's Albert Hall to bullrings in Spain.

Season 8, episode 17

With Steve Lawrence, Dick Martin.
In the highlight skit, Dom DeLuise is a judge and Lawrence and Martin are the attorneys battling over Dean, who is in court on bigamy charges. Dean, Steve and Dick sing "Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams".
