The winner, in addition to receiving $7,500 and a personal appearance contract, will represent the United States in the "Miss Universe Beauty Pageant" in July. Tanya Wilson of Honolulu, Hawaii, is the reigning Miss U.S.A. Helen O'Connell is hostess of the telecast, and Bob Barker is the master of ceremonies. The Lettermen entertain.
