A new type of facility for the mentally retarded is the subject of this week's report. The story centers on the facility of Oakwood in Somerset, Ky. The staff operates on a basis called "hidden professionalism" by which most of the work is done by people short on academic training and long on basic humanity while the trained professionals are there to give guidance only.
