[ABC 10:00] Oil: The Policy Crisis
The program cuts through the confusion of the oil shortage and presents a primer on oil -- spelling out facts and issues that have generated the fuel crunch. Reporters Jules Bergman and Brit Hume suggest that much of the crisis is due to the policies of the oil companies which assure that price, not supply, is the critical factor. They also document, and question, the half-million dollar contribution by the oil industry for the building and maintaining of ex-President Eisenhower's Gettysburg farm.
