The Pointer Sisters portray the screaming audience and Sandy, as an elderly lady, and Geraldine (Flip) Jones are the traders for the "big deal". Flip, Monty and Sandy sing and perform a medley of songs about walking. The Pointer Sisters sing "Old Songs" and "Cloudburst". W: Herman Miller D: Jerry Thorpe With Robert Hooks, Carol Lynley, Simon Oakland, John Randolph, Jose Ferrer, Jeremy Slate. Well-made San Francisco cops-and-robbers film with a 70s style murder story and a black inspector, who takes on the establishment over the murder of a shipping magnate's son, with particular emphasis on the menacing atmosphere created in a confrontation between the black cop and the black killers.
