The Life Achievement Award, previously presented to James Cagney and John Ford, is tonight given to Orson Welles, honoring his contribution to the motion picture industry. Included in this 90-minute program will be film clips from Welles films ("Citizen Kane", The Magnificent Ambersons" and others) as well as appearances by people associated with Welles throughout his career. Frank Sinatra hosts.
