New comedy series with Lorna Patterson in the role of a New York society girl trying to cope with military life. Eileen Brennan and Hal Williams reprise their roles from the feature film. In the opening episode, fearing that Pvt. Benjamin will make the troops look bad during General Trustmore's visit, Capt. Lewis tries unsuccessfully to keep her out of sight.
