Angels 10, White Sox 6 at Chicago (night game):
A pinch-hit bloop single by Joe Rudi keyed a four-run ninth inning that lifted the Angels to a 10-6 triumph over the White Sox. The score was 6-6 when Don Baylor led off the ninth with a walk and was forced at second by Jason Thompson. Bert Campaneris ran for Thompson and went to second on a single by Carney Lansford.
