With Agnes Moorehead (Mrs. Wilson), Herbert Rudley (Mr. Wilson), Patsy Kelly (Old Lady), Doris Packer (Mrs. Kendricks), Gil Lamb (Hansom Driver). An all-black version of Neil Simon's Broadway play depicts the trials and tribulations of a young lawyer and his bride living in a one-room apartment on the top floor of an old, integrated brownstone in New York. In this episode, Paul Bratter submits to the pleas of his wife and mother-in-law and substitutes as a bartender-writer at a party.

Corie models an expensive dress at a charity affair that taxes Paul's purse and patience. He becomes the high bidder on a $600 dress that his boss wanted for his daughter, and then he gets caught in the zipper of Corie's dress.

With Alley Mills (Candy). Paul hires a secretary he doesn't really want, and in the process gets a Mod-Afro redecorated office he doesn't want either.

With Jane Dulo (Mrs. Murphy), Cindy Williams (Agnes), Maidie Norman (Lady), Bill Callaway (Student), Dan Spelling (Man). Paul tells Honey why Corie's teeth marks are on his back.

November 5, 1970: Down With The Landlord

With Sugar Ray Robinson (Himself), Ron Feinberg (Harry Barker), Davis Roberts (Rev. Jones), Harry Caesar (Jack Lewis), David Fresco (Mr. Green). As spokesman for the other dissatisfied tenants, Paul calls on the building owner and discovers that he is Sugar Ray Robinson.

When Corie discovers the inflatable chair she bought is defective, Paul returns it and the owner tries to stick him with a defective and expensive stereo set.

December 17, 1970: Nothing But The Truth

After Corie attends a sensitivity session she decides that she and Paul must be totally honest with each other. But when the Kendricks come to dinner the "truth" begins to backfire. (Last show of the series.)
